The playwright Moliere is enjoying a mini-revival in Sonoma County this spring.

Not bad for a guy who’s been dead for more than 300 years.

Sonoma State University will stage his satire about about a wealthy, healthy man who thinks he’s dying, “Imaginary Invalid,” Friday, March 19, through March 27 in the Person Theatre on the Rohnert Park campus. $8-$15. 664-2343, sonoma.edu.

And the 6th Street Playhouse at Santa Rosa’s Railroad Square will present Moliere’s “Tartuffe,” about a hypocrite who pretends to be virtuous, April 9 to May 2.  $15-$28. 523-4185, 6thstreetplayhouse.com.
