British alternative rock singer David J, from the ’70s band Bauhaus and its ’80s successor, Love and Rockets, will perform Friday, April 23, at the Chrome Lotus in Santa Rosa.

The bassist, vocalist, lyricist and producer has more than 25 albums to his credit over the past three decades. His latest is “Bouquets, Wreaths and Laurels.”

Luv’n Rockets, the Love and Rockets tribute band, also will perform. Doors open at 8 p.m, and the music starts at 9 p.m. Open to age 21 and older only.
