Now for something completely different …

Well, actually, it’s sort of the same.

Last year, Paul Stokeld of the Toad in the Hole Pub in Santa Rosa’s Railroad Square put on a street party he called “Mostly Python.”

“It was great success and a lot of fun,” Stokeld says.

So, he’s doing it again, from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 2, in the street outside the pub.  Its address is 116 Fifth St.

Local actors will perform classic “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” skits. Live bands booked so far include Brothers Horse, The Crux, Crazy Famous and the Steve Pile Band. And, of course, there will be beer for sale.

And the admission price for all of this?

“All of things, free,” Stokeld replies.
