Vox Populi, Sonoma's rock choir

Would you like to be under the sea in an Octopus’ garden with an entire choir?

Vox Populi, Sonoma’s rock chorus, will  perform the entire Beatles’ album, “Abbey Road,” twice:

(1) 8 p.m.  Friday, May 14, at the Sebastiani Winery, 389 Fourth St. E., Sonoma. (707) 933-3230, www.sebastiani.com.

(2) 7:30 p.m Monday, May 17, at Sebastiani Theater,476 First St. E, Sonoma. (707) 996-9756, sebastianitheatre.com.

Tickets cost $10, and can be purchased at Tiddle E. Winks 115 E. Napa St, and at Sebastiani Theater for the theater show.

The backup band, playing that Beatle backbeat, will be Plan Be.

Formed in 2007, Vox Populi is the brainchild of local musician Mark Dennis.  The choir has since grown to more than  70 members.
