“See What I’m Saying,” a new documentary film that chronicles a year in the lives of deaf performers, screens Thursday, at 7:15  p.m. June 17, at the Rialto Cinemas in Santa Rosa.

The performers profiled include comic C.J. Jones, actor Robert DeMayo, singer T.L. Forsberg and drummer Bob Hiltermann of the rock band Beethoven’s Nightmare.

The movie’s dialog and narration are mostly in American Sign Language, but the film will be captioned for the “signing-impaired.” A question and answer period with the film’s producer, Hilary Scarl of Los Angeles, will be interpreted in ASL.
