Worldwide Music Alive will present a dozen bands playing many different styles of music at a barbecue and free live concert, from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 25, at Southwest Park on Hearn Avenue in Santa Rosa, California.

The organization aims to encourage support for music programs in schools.

The headline act is and Daughter of The Blues, featuring Zakiya Hooker, John Lee Hooker’s daughter, and Shirley King, daughter of B. B. King.

The other bands include Front Porch Blues, One Eye Mind, Midnight Sun, The Crux, Loc-Nus, Omega Raw, Rachel Bockover, ANANTA, Skip and Yana Soder, Cat Mclean and the Charles Thomas Band.
