The Petaluma Music Festival is coming back.

Now in its third year, the annual benefit for school music programs presents nine hours of live music, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, the Sonoma Marin Fairgrounds, 175 Fairgrounds Drive, Petaluma.

Performers include Trombone Shorty (Troy Andrews) and the Orleans Avenue, A.L.O, Poor Man’s Whiskey, Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums, Sol Horizon, Hillside Fire, the Peter Welker Sextet featuring Jeff Oster, Artifact and the Zydeco Flames.

Admission: $25-$75; $5 more day of show. Kids under 12 get in free, if accompanied by a paying adult. Information: 338-0574,  petalumamusicfestival.org.
