MercyMe, a contemporary Christian music sextet from Texas, made its debut with crossover hit single with “I Can Only Imagine” in 2001, and now has a half dozen bestselling ablums to its credit.

The newest release is “The Generous Mr. Lovewell. ”

Combining words of worship with pop rock music, the band will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, 50 Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa.
