Mystery Photo No. 17: 'Seaview'

Lynn Prime, Sonoma State University’s Digital Projects Librarian, is working her way through some 850 photos, taken during the ’70s by students in the college’s historical preservation course. So far, she has entered about 300 in the university’s digital archives.

Since the notes that have survived the past three decades are sketchy and incomplete, she’s reaching out to the public for help in identifying these old photos.

That is how our “Mystery Photo” series got started.

Today’s entry is Mystery Photo No. 17: “Seaview” (carpssu_275 in the SSU files).

Prime notes that the photograph was taken by R. Stevenson in1974.

The notes she has say “Open land with fence, junction Old Ridge Road & Fort Ross Road, Seaview.”

And Prime adds, “Any details about the property would be welcome.”
