Fred Curchack in 'Grandpa's Home Videos'

For decades, writer and performer Fred Curchack has been staging his inventive solo stage shows at the Cinnabar Theater,  continuing long after he moved from Petaluma to Dallas.

He’ll present his latest creation, “Grandpa’s Home Videos,” at 8 p.m. Feb. 4-5 and 11-12 at the Cinnabar, 3333 Petaluma Blvd. N, Petaluma.

Curchack’s press release says his show, a combination of video and his own live performance, features “four generations of video goddesses: Laura Jorgensen, Alia Curchack-Beeton, Norma Curchack, and introducing Baby Miela.”

The release goes on to say: “Join the fun as his wife, mother, daughter and baby granddaughter reveal the secret of life to Grandpa Fred.”

Don’t let the title mislead you. Curchack is a p0lished professional performer. He has created 77 original theater pieces, and has received the Gold Medal at the International Festival of Solo Theatre and the American Theatre Wing Award.
