Join fiddlers and fans from across the country for the 36th annual Cloverdale Old Time Fiddle Festival, running Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 29-30, at the Citrus Fairgrounds in Cloverdale. Gates open at 9 a.m. both days.

Since 1975, musicians have traveled to Cloverdale to compete in the fiddle contest, jam and trade tunes.

This year, the line-up includes Antioch Strolling Strings, Bohemian Highway, The Mighty Chiplings, Blue & Lonesome, Brothers Comatose, the West County Professional Tea Sippers and Devine’s Jug Band. The Saturday night dance features the Zydeco Flames.

There also will be workshops, handmade crafts, food, beer and wine.

Tickets: $12.50 per day or $20 for both; children age 5-15, $5; over age 60, or groups of five or more, $10.
