The 6th Street Playhouse announced its 2011-2012 season line-up of four musicals and eight plays.

Season tickets for new subscribers will be available May 15, and single tickets for all shows go on sale July 1.

The shows, for both the main GK Hardt auditorium and the smaller studio space, are:

— “Kite’s Book,” Sept. 30-Oct. 23, 2011.
— “A Christmas Story,” Nov. 18-Dec. 23, 2011.
— “The Drowsy Chaperone,” Jan. 13-Feb. 12, 2012.
— “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” March 9-April 1, 2012.
— “Illyria,” April 20-May 20, 2012.
— “The Producers, June 15-July 15.

Studio Theatre:

— “Almost, Maine,” Dec. 2-18, 2011.
— “The 39 Steps” (rights pending), Jan. 6- 22, 2012.
