Arlo — son of legendary American troubadour Woody Guthrie and longtime pal of Woody’s close friend and folk icon, Pete Seeger —  will perform twice nearby this week.

If you’re a devotee of all things Guthrie, and wish to make it a father-son combo, go see Heritage Music Theatre’s reprise of its popular stage production,  “Woody Guthrie’s American Song,” at 8 p.m. April 30 or 2 p.m. May 1 at  Main Stage West, the former site of the Sonoma County Repertory Theater, 104 N.
