Five-time Grammy nominee John Santos will present a jazz appreciation class titled “The Anatomy of Latin Jazz” from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at the Healdsburg Center for the Arts, 130 Plaza St., Healdsburg.

Tickets cost $15; students and seniors, $10. The event is a benefit for this summer’s Healdsburg Jazz Festival.

Santos’ lecture will include rare recordings from his collection, to illustrate the influence Latino Caribbean music Louie Armstrong, Bo Diddley, Elvis Presley and even Bill Cosby and Walt Disney.
