'Sonoma Valley' by Ransome Holdredge

Every year, around the time that the rich and powerful come from around the country to convene at the ultra-exclusive Bohemian Grove, the Christopher Queen Galleries in Duncans Mills mark the occasion in an artistic way.

In July, the art gallery will present “Bohemian Summer,” its 21st annual exhibition and sale of paintings by the artists of San Francisco’s Bohemian Club from 1870 to 1920.

The display of work by three dozen artists, including Edwin Deakin and Maynard Dixon, opens with a champagne reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17, and will continue through Sept. 25.
