Chipfest, an eclectic annual musical celebration held in memory of Sonoma County musician Chip Dunbar, will be held this Saturday, Oct. 8, in Sebastopol.
Dunbar, who suffered from a chronic heart condition, died in 2006 at age 52. Dunbar worked as a computer consultant but was known in local music circles for his mastery of the mandolin, among other instruments.
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Sebastopol Community Center Annex, 425 Morris St., Sebastopol. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Performers will include The Mighty Chiplings, Sara Winge & friends, The Farallons, Larry Carlin & Claudia Hampe, Solid Air and Under the Radar.
