The Wells Fargo Center for the Arts will open its 31st season with a concert Aug. 15 by ZZ Top and close it May 8, 2013, with a performance of “The Pirates of Penzance” by New York’s Gilbert & Sullivan Players.
The season includes 45 new shows in all. Other highlights include jazz singer and pianist Diana Krall on Aug. 28, blues legend B.B. King on Nov. 2, and comedian Bill Cosby on Feb. 8.
Series offerings include National Geographic Live, Family Fun and Copperfield’s Books Renowned Speaker Series.

Who’s next? Foghat? County Fair material…They need to go back to booking good, cutting edge, QUALITY comedy acts cause God knows the only popular music acts that are gonna play there is Mexican music.
