At 72, Lester Chambers of the  ’60s rock and soul group, the Chambers Brothers, remains a busy performer.

Chambers, who has been living in Petaluma for the past two years, will perform at  8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Mystic Theatre, 23 Petaluma Blvd. N., Petaluma.

The blues and reggae concert also features The Mudstompers and Zion Lion.

Chambers is also featured on the first volume of the soundtrack CD for “Pacha’s Pajamas,” designed to encourage children to protect the environment.

The CD, released in September, features 55 artists,  including Yasiin Bey, aka Mos Def, Cheech Marin, Talib Kweli, Majora Carter, Ta’Kaiya Blaney and Lyrics Born

Chambers is featured as “Grandpa Bear” in “Pacha’s Pajamas,” the musical story of a city girl who sets out to change the world.
