Singer and actor Michael McGurk, who appeared on Broadway in the 2000 revival of “The Music Man”” and the 2006 premiere of “The Wedding Singer,” stars in the premiere of new show Friday, Oct. 26, at the Cinnabar Theater in Petaluma.
“So Nice to Come Home To: A World War II Musical,” by Richard B. Evans and Kate Hancock, will run through Nov. 11 at the Cinnabar, 3333 Petaluma Blvd. N., Petaluma.
McGurk, originally from Pittsburgh, Pa., also appeared in the 2012 Sacramento Music Circus production of “The Music Man,” which featured Shirley Jones as Mrs. Paroo and Jones’ son Patrick Cassidy as Harold Hill.
Show times for “So Nice to Come Home To” are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, with performances at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4 and 11.
