One of the finalists for a $10,000 acting scholarship in the annual contest sponsored by “Beach Blanket Babylon” in San Francisco is Madeline Rouverol of Santa Rosa High School.

The nine high school seniors chosen as finalists in three categories will perform live Monday, June 3, at Club Fugazi, home of the long-running musical comedy review created by the late Steve Silver. A $10,000 scholarship will be awarded in each category.

Rouverol, 18,  most recently appeared onstage locally in Roustabout Theater’s production of “A Little Night Music” at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. She is a student in the ArtQuest program at Santa Rosa High School.

The other finalists are:

Acting: Barrett Courtney, Abraham Lincoln High School, San Francisco; Ethan Haslam, Lick-Wilmerding High School, San Francisco.

Dance: Simon Greenberg, Berkeley High School, Berkeley; Riley O’Flynn, Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts, San Francisco; Candy Tong, Aragon High School, San Mateo.

Voice: Dana Cullinane; Los Gatos High School, Los Gatos; Kristina Dizon, Rocklin High School, Rocklin; Leah Jean Gallagher, St. Ignatius College Preparatory, San Francisco.
