There’s no shame in joining the bread line. In fact, in this case, it could prove rather prestigious.

For the grand opening of its new Santa Rosa bakery and cafe, Boudin SF will give away a year’s supply of free bread to the first 100 people in line when the doors open at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 11.

The new Santa Rosa location is at 2345 Midway Drive in Montgomery Village, on the corner of Farmers Lane and Montgomery Drive.

The very first place in line will be reserved for the Redwood Empire Food Bank, a non-profit organization that provides food to those in need.
