The 1970s star who turned rock and roll into shock theater, Alice Cooper, will perform at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts.

At his concerts, the rocker charmed snakes and cavorted with mangled mannequins onstage, inspiring the NY Dolls, KISS, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Motley Crue, Rob Zombie and others who followed.

Cooper’s hits include “School’s Out,” “Billion Dollar Babies,” “I’m Eighteen,” “I Love the Dead” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy.”

Tickets cost from $39.50 to $63.50, and go on sale at noon Friday, Sept. 13, at wellsfargocenterarts.org, ticketweb.com and jmaxproductions.net. Information: 546-3600.
