The Wells Fargo Center for the Arts has formed new partnerships with two local arts organizations, the North Bay Stage Company and Sonoma Latin Arts.

The North Bay Stage Company was started by former members of the Raven Players, a theater company that performs at the Raven Theater in Healdsburg. (The Raven Theater is opening a second site in Windsor.)

Wells Fargo Center will now have two resident companies:  North Bay Stage Company and the Roustabout Theater, a training program for young actors which opened at the center in 2005.

The center’s other new partner is Sonoma Latin Arts, which began as Santa Rosa Salsa in 2001, offering dance classes and social dancing at the Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa.

Sonoma Latin Arts will offer dance classes for adults and children. Santa Rosa Salsa will continue as an independent production company, presenting social dances and the annual Salsa Festival, to be held this year Feb. 13-16 at the Flamingo.

The Academy of Language of Arts of Sonoma, an adjunct to Sonoma Latin Arts, also will offer a private language immersion and cultural arts program.
