When the new superhero feature film “Sparks” screens Friday, March 7, at Santa Rosa’s Roxy Stadium 14 theater, several members of the cast will be on hand.

William Katt, star of the early ’80s TV series “The Greatest American Hero,” will join Clint Howard from the film How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Jake Busey of the movie “Starship Troopers.’

Christopher Folino, the film’s writer, director and producer, also will appear.

The film stars Chase Williamson as Ian Sparks, a masked vigilante who discovers the dark side of heroism, according to the film’s web site, sparksmovie.com.

The screening starts at 8 p.m. at the Roxy, 85 Santa Rosa Ave. The movie opens nationwide March 14.
