‘Trashion’ fashion artists wanted in Sonoma

Once again, it’s time to dive into the dumpster in search of inspiration. ‘Trashion’ show opens in Sonoma

A fashion show means impossibly skinny models sporting clothes no one you know could ever afford, right? Not this time. The “Trashion” fashion show features stylish clothing and accessories created by artists and designers from recycled materials and cast-off junk. Sonoma artist Margaret Hatcher designs costumes from unusual materials, like old shopping bags. It’s a choice. She’s into recycling.
