Broadway performer stars in new Petaluma show

Singer and actor Michael McGurk, who appeared on Broadway in the 2000 revival of “The Music Man”” and the 2006 premiere of “The Wedding Singer,” stars in the premiere of new show Friday, Oct. 26, at the Cinnabar Theater in Petaluma. “So Nice to Come Home To: A World War II Musical,”  by Richard B. ‘Young Frankenstein’ opens in San Francisco

‘Young Frankenstein,’ the stage musical based on the Mel Brooks movie, opens with shows at 2 and 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 30,  at the Golden Gate Theatre, 1 Taylor St., San Francisco. Tony Award winners Roger Bart and Shuler Hensley reprise their Broadway roles as Dr. Frankenstein and the Monster.
