Rock drummer Mickey Hart’s artwork on exhibit in Napa

Grammy Award-winning drummer Mickey Hart has never stopped experimenting, from his earlier days with The Grateful Dead to the present. Hart has collaborated with San Francisco choreographer Alonzo King, and with scientists across the country, who helped him translate brain waves, and light waves from space, into musical rhythms. Mickey Hart releases new song ‘Jersey Shore’ to help with Hurricane Sandy relief

The Mickey Hart Band is releasing a new song titled “Jersey Shore,” Tuesday, Feb 5, to benefit Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Mickey Hart plays March 7 in Healdsburg

Percussionist Mickey Hart of Grateful Dead fame brings his own band to Healdsburg to perform March 7 at the Raven Theater. The Mickey Hart Band, which staged a sold-out, 15-date tour in December, the Mickey Hart Band band includes Tony Award-winning singer Crystal Monee Hall, singer Tim Hockenberry, bassist Dave Schools, drummer Ian Herman, guitarist Gawain Matthews, percussionist Sikuru Adepoju and keyboardist Ben Yonas.
