Advance screening of ‘Parental Guidance’ comedy film in Sonoma

This may be the first film named after a rating. “Parental Guidance,” scheduled to open Dec. 25, stars Marisa Tomei and Tom Everett Scott star as parents who need to go out of town for work and leave their kids with the grandparents. Kennedy puts on a play at Murphy’s

It seems only right and proper to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day season with a show staged by director Kate  Kennedy at Murphy’s Irish Pub in Sonoma. “The Beauty Queen of Leenan,” by Martin McDonagh, plays Murphy’s at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 8; Friday, March 11, and 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15. Sonoma gets ‘Earnest’

Sonoma finds it fitting and proper to stage a play by a great Irish playwright, two days before St. Patrick’s Day.
