Renee Fleming in the SF Opera's 'Lucrezia Borgia'

For those who love the opera a lot more than they love driving, there’s an easy answer.

For the past three decades, the Sonoma County Opera Guild’s “Opera Bus” program has offered a package deal that covers tickets as well as round-trip transportation from Oakmont and Santa Rosa to the San Francisco Opera.

The operas and trip dates this season are:

7:30 p.m.  Sept. 14  — Puccini’s “Turandot, with David Hockney’s lavish sets, starring Leah Crocetto and  Marco  Berti.

7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 — Donizetti’s “Lucrezia Borgia,” starring Renee Fleming.

2 p.m.  Nov. 5 — Mozart’s “Don Giovanni,” with Ellie Dhem and Topi Lehtipuu singing the lead roles.

Group ticket prices: $110 for “Turandot”;$148 for “”Lucrezia Borgia”; $121 for “Don Giovanni.”
