Photographs of the Americas Cup sailboat race on San Francisco Bay, taken by Santa Rosa photographer Stuart Kiehl, will be shown throughout August at the Depot Gallery in downtown Mill Valley.

A former New York City fashion photographer, Kiehl also will offer framed, signed prints of his Americas Cup photographs for sale.

The show runs Aug. 1-30 at the gallery, 87 Throckmorton Ave., with a wine and cheese opening reception planned for 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. Information: 415-383-2665.

The Americas Cup competition for the Louis Vuitton Cup opened July 4 and continues through Sept. 21.
