Readers have been calling and emailing for the past few days, asking where they can see the well-reviewed new movie, “Winter’s Bone.”

It opens this Friday, June 25, at the Rialto Cinemas Lakeside, 551 Summerfield Road, Santa Rosa.

The film follows Ree Dolly, a teenage girl in the Missouri Ozarks trying to find her drug-dealing father, who put up the family’s house for his bail bond and then disappeared.

Since her catatonic mother is in no shape to help, Ree (played by Jennifer Lawrence) has to find a way to save the house and keep her young brother and sister safe.
