See a good movie and help support Elsie Allen High School’s drama department, when the Rialto Cinemas presents “Dancing Across Borders,” a feature-length documentary about a young Cambodian dancer, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 29.

A reception will be held at 7 p.m.  Before the film, classical Cambodian dancer and choreographer Charya Burt will perform, accompanied by San Francisco Opera cellist Ruth Lane.

Donations may be made to Elsie Allen Fringe Aid, in care of Rob Burt, Elsie Allen High School, 599 Bellevue Ave.. Santa Rosa, CA 95407.

The goal is to raise $56,000 needed to send students and their drama instructor to the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  Else Allen was chosen from over 2000 nominees to be one of 75 American high schools to perform at the theater festival in Scotland.
