The Lost Boys, the young rock quintet from Kelseyville, returns to play a hometown concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at the Moore Family Winery, 11990 Bottle Rock Road.

The band’s current “Why Not Now?” tour has included recent headliner performances at Venice Beach Summerfest, the Vancouver Island Music Conference and the New Mexico State Fair. The tour continues this fall with shows scheduled at Orange Coast College and Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles, and at the Indie Week festival in Toronto, Canada.

The Lost Boys also will perform Nov. 18 at the 20th annual Los Angeles Music Awards. The band has been nominated for awards at the independent music industry event for the best rock album and best rock artists of 2010.  A new album is scheduled for release this fall.
