Operating on the theory that there’s nothing more potentially appealing than a really nice accordion, some Bay Area women musicians, three of them from Sonoma County, have put out CD.

And a 2011 pin-up calendar, now on sale at Copperfield’s Books.

They call themselves The Accordion Babes.

Studio E will present four of the acts —  Roxanne Oliva’s Bellows of Bedlam,  Maggie Martin’s Mad Maggies, Vagabondage and Tara Linda — at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at Aubergine, 755 Petaluma Ave., Sebastopol. For details: www.aubergineafterdarkandcafe.com, (707) 827-3460.
