Teresa Tudury

Sonoma County singer-songwriter Teresa Tudury is steadily building a local fan base.

You can witness why when she performs at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Petaluma Arts Center, 230 Lakeville St., Petaluma.

Although her emergence on the Sonoma County circuit may seem relatively recent, she’s not a novice.

Tudury sarted writing songs at age 12 and was performing in San Francisco nightclubs by the time she was 15.

She has played on and off in the Bay Area for years, and for almost two decades, she was based in Los Angeles where she made music, wrote comedy and worked as a character actress on stage and screen.
