Wood grain painting by Mary Jarvis

Painters Mary Jarvis and Suzanne Edminster invite artitst and neighbors to celebrate at the first ‘Summer Barracks Party’ from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 25, at The Barracks, 3840 Finley Ave., Building 32, Barracks 107 and 221, in Santa Rosa.

The art on display will include work in progress.

“Although I’m reticent to unveil unfinished work, it will be interesting to share in the development,” said Jarvis, who specializes in wood grain oil paintings.
