Alex de Grassi has played acoustic guitar at a wide variety of venues, from coffeehouses to Carnegie Hall, so performing at a winery doesn’t seem out of place at all.

Parducci Winery’s Acoustic Café concert series presents de Grassi in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the winery, 501 Parducci Road, Ukiah.

The guitarist’s 10th recording, “The Water Garden” has been nominated both a Grammy and an Indie Award, and was named Crossroads Magazine’s best acoustic instrumental recording of the year.
