Emerging jazz artist Matt Slocum will lead his trio in a live concert Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Sonoma State University.

Presented by the SSU Jazz Forum, the concert starts at 1 p.m. in the music education hall, next to Green Music Center on the Rohnert Park campus.

The 29-year-old drummer and composer’s new album, “After the Storm,” was released Oct. 11 on Chandra Records.

The trio’s current tour began Oct. 13 in Los Angeles and ends Nov. 17 in Kitano, New York.
