Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, for the San Francisco run of the Broadway musical, “The Book of Mormon.”

The show will play the Curran Theatre for five weeks only, from Nov. 27 to Dec. 30.

 

“The Book of Mormon” won nine Tony Awards last year, including best musical.

The satire was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who created “South Park” for television, and Robert Lopez, who created the stage show “Avenue Q.”

“The Book of Mormon” tells the story of two young Mormon missionaries sent to a remote village in northern Uganda.
