Do you think of motorcycles as an art form? If not, the Sebastopol Center for the Arts would like you to think again.

“Art in Iron,” a two-day motorcycle exhibition,  runs Saturday and Sunday, July 24-25, at the center, 6780 Depot St.

The event includes bikes an invitational gallery exhibit, an outdoor exhibit, a motorcycle ride and gala party.

The weekend kicks off  Saturday with a motorcycle ride through Sonoma County, ending with a party at the center to open the exhibition. Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and include the party and exhibition. Purchase tickets at: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/112485

On Sunday, the exhbition continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission on Sunday costs $3.

Jim Giuffra’s 2008 World Metric Championship bike will be on display both days.  The exhibit also features work by designers Kirk Taylor (Custom Design Studios, Novato), Satya Kraus (Kraus Motor Company, Cazadero), Bryan Schimke (TPJ Customs, Lodi), Doran Benson (Xtreme Custom Iron, Rohnert Park) and Jim Giuffra (AFT Customs, Jackson).
