T. J. Leyden

Here’s a heavy topic for a Monday night:

At 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3, Associated Student Productions at Sonoma State University will present a free lecture titled “Turning Away from Hate.”

Former white supremacist T. J. Leyden still bears swastika tattoos, but now he speaks out against racism in gritty terms, sharing inside info on neo-Nazis.

He’ll talk in Ives Hall at Sonoma State on the SSU campus, 1801 E. Cotati Ave., Rohnert Park.

Leyden is the co-author of “Skinhead Confessions: From Hate to Hope,” with M. Bridget Cook.
