Feeling lonely? Need some company?

Sonoma State University will stage the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, “Company,” by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth, seven times this month.

The first performance is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18,  in the Evert B. Person Theatre on campus in Rohnert Park. The show closes Feb. 28.

The story: Manhattan bachelor Bobby spends his 35th birthday recalling a series of vignettes about his various friends and lovers, trying to make some sense of all.

Sondheim’s songs for the show include  “Another Hundred People,” “Getting Married Today,” “Marry Me a Little,” “Barcelona,” “Ladies Who Lunch” and “Being Alive.”

This production features musical direction by Lynne Morrow (always a treat, as those of you who’ve enjoyed her work at Spreckels Center in Rohnert Park already know) and stage direction by Adrian Elfenbaum.

Ticket: $8-$15. Information: www.sonoma.edu,  (707) 664-2353.
