Here’s a bulletin for blues buffs:

Kim Wilson, the front man and founder of The Fabulous Thunderbirds, will bring his own Blues All-Stars to the Highland Dell Resort, 21050 River Blvd., Monte Rio, for a performance at 7 p.m. Friday, March 19.

The blues singer and harmonica player has worked with the greats, including Muddy Waters, BB King, Buddy Guy, Bonnie Raitt, the Rolling Stones, Joe Cocker, Carlos Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughn. (Vaughn’s brother Jimmy is a former member of the Fabulous Thunderbirds.)

Wilson’s Blues All-Stars include pianist Barrelhouse Chuck, bassist Larry Taylor, drummer Richard Innes  and guitarist Billy Flynn.
