Boxx plays at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at Spancky’s, 8201 Old Redwood Highway, Cotati.

“We’re a three-piece rock group from the Vallejo-Napa area, doing mostly originals and with some covers included,” says drummer John “Sticks” Brazil.

The band also includes singers Jef Madnik and Randy Frisey on both bass and guitar, and Frisey also plays mandolin.
