Mystery Photo No. 7: "Beltane Ranch"

Lynn Prime, Digital Projects Librarian at Sonoma State University, is looking for people with long memories.

Working her way through some 850 photos, taken during the ’70s by students in the college’s historical preservation course, she has stored some 300 in the digital archives so far.

She has plenty of photographs, but what she needs is information, since details on the photos are incomplete. We’re trying to help her out, with our “Mystery Photo” series.

Today’s entry is Mystery Photo No. 7, “Beltane Ranch, Sonoma.” (ID# carpssu_155):

“The photo was taken by Leslie Miller, circa 1974-1976. We know the ranch is located on Highway 12 in Sonoma, but any other details or stories about the history of the site are all welcome,” Prime said.
