Rodney Crowell

Singer and songwriter Rodney Crowell, former husband of Roseanne Cash, is also an author.

He’ll be in Santa Rosa to talk about his new book, “Chinaberry Sidewalks,” at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at Copperfield’s Books in Montgomery Village.

The book is a memoir about his experiences growing up in Jacinto City, east of Houston. His story includes hurricanes, fishing trips, rock-throwing fights, bow-and-arrow mishaps and a Hank Williams concert he attended when he was only 2 years old.
