The Healdsburg Jazz Festival, scheduled to run from May 29 to June 7, will include a two-day mini-festival titled “Jazz and the Music of the Americas,” featuring prominent Latin musicians with a jazz connection, and jazz artists with a feel for Latin music.

Performers at the mini-festival, set for May 30-31 at the Jackson Theater in Santa Rosa, will include  Brazilian vocalist Leny Andrade, Trio de Paz, pianists Kenny Barron and Pablo Ziegler, and bandleader Eddie Palmieri.

Other venues for Healdsburg Jazz Festival’s 17th summer celebration include the Raven Theater, Hotel Healdsburg and the SHED, all in Healdsburg.

Performers during the rest of the 10-day run include the Wayne Wallace, the Benny Green Trio and The Cookers. Additional acts are still being booked for the festival, which closes June 7 with the George Cable Trio .
