Mystery Photo No. 10, "Seaview"

Our “Mystery Photo” series, intended to help Lynn Prime, Sonoma State University’s Digital Projects Librarian, identify archival photos, has reached photo No. 10.

That only leaves 840 to go.

Prime is working her way through some 850 photos, taken during the ’70s by students in the college’s historical preservation course.

She has stored about 300 in the digital archives so far.

Details on many of the photos are sparse. So, Prime is reaching out to the public, with our help, to get some more background on the pictures. So, here we go, with Mystery Photo No. 10, “Seaview,”  (Carpssu_268):

“This photograph is labeled on the back ‘Seaview, California,’ and was taken by student photographer R. Stevenson in 1974, but we don’t have the exact location or history of this house,” Prime said.

You can post your information and comments here, or contact Prime directly at primel@sonoma.edu or (707) 664-4025.
