Mystery Photo No. 11, "Barn in Seaview."

Our “Mystery Photo” series, designed to help Sonoma State University identify archival photographs from more than 30 years ago, includes several images marked “Seaview.”

Today’s entry is Mystery Photo No. 11, “Barn in Seaview,” (Carpssu_267):

“This image of the remains of a barn on Chreiton Ridge Road, Seaview, is by R. Stevenson (1974). It was built around 1918, but we don’t know whose barn it was or its exact location,” said Lynn Prime, Sonoma State University’s Digital Projects Librarian.

Prime is working with some 850 photos, taken during the ’70s by students in the college’s historical preservation course. Details on many of the photos are incomplete. She has stored about 300 in the digital archives so far.
